How do I install fonts that I've downloaded?

I downloaded some twilight-related fonts (zephyr, pablo, joe hand, almagro, and be safe regular) from a couple websites like 1001freefonts and a couple other similar places. I've got the zip files saved to my desktop, but how do I install the fonts into my word program? My computer is a windows XP but it only has Windows OpenOffice.org 2.0 instead of Microsoft Word. please help!!
