Can I lose 60 pounds by the end of June? Any tips?

I would tell you to set your weight loss goal a bit lower, maybe 30-40 pounds. People set goals which sometimes are not attainable, or are very hard to achieve. By setting smaller goals, you can work towards reaching your big goal, which in your case is 60 pounds. If you set your goal too high, you may get discouraged if you do not see the results you want. Have your goal be to lose 30-40 pounds by the end of June. If you stay on top of eating healthy and exercising you will see the results you want. Have you ever used physical violence on a sibling? why?

I kicked my little brother so hard on his stomache that i knocked the wind out of him but he deserved it for being really greedy and rude when i asked him for some chips he was eating and for not giving me any space to sit on the couch.

What would you do if this were you?

I have a friend, well we have been friends for like 20 years. We used to be real close like best friends. We are still kinda close I guess but we don't talk very often. Anyway, she called about a week ago and said that her sister which I have only met maybe 3 times needed a babysitter cause their great gramma died. I felt bad cause I did know the great gramma. See her sister,step-sister, lived in California for most of our friendship so that's why I never seen her much. So I was like okay, I felt bad cause the sis was a pall bearer. The baby is 1. We had a lot of fun with her. My youngest is 5 now so it was fun having her around. Anyhow, my friend and her sis came an picked up the baby 5 hours later and I got offered NOTHING for babysitting. I can see my friend cause we would do anything for each other but I barely know her sister and never seen the baby before and I played with that baby non stop for 5 hours and couldn't do any of my chores at home. She is a single mom and I would not have taken much from her but she should have offered but now I feel kinda weird about my friend cause she is the one that called and asked me to do it. So shouldn't she have been the one to say, hay you gonna give her a few dollars for watching your baby? Do I just get used again?

What happens when an independent contractor is really a de facto employee?

I am independent contractor with a company for long time. They can't seem to find and evidence of our (old) contract. I've no question that, contract or not, I'm not operating as a contractor. My question is if the CA EDD were to get involved with this, what would it mean to me and my "employer". I personally take no real deductions as an IC, and pay both sides of my social security, so even if I had to refigure back taxes, I'd not really lose much. Or would I? Would I get back all my past social security taxes? What would it mean to the employer?

Is eating 72 Twix candy bars unhealthy?

Oh yea i forgot to mention, in ONE day. my friend is daring me to eat a whole box of twix in one day tomorrow. i bought the 36 twix's box. two twix's in each wrapper so that's why 72 twix bars. If i eat those 72 bars tomorrow will i get sick or what will happen?

Is canning difficult, expensive and generally worth it?

The initial cost will get you, but after that it is well worth the time and satisfaction.. A good pressure cooker , large to do up to 7 qts of something at a time is just under 100$. Jars , depending on the sizes you all get 50-70$ . Jar rings , reusable and lids, non reusable is minimal. Salsa is easy if you grow your own tomatoes and peppers etc...We didn t do salsa but many qts of paste and spag sauce.. We also can bean ( green and yellow. Now that is easy. Apple pie filling and chunky apple sause is also easy, we bought apples in season and from an orchard so they were cheap. Probably a wash on cost the 1 st year, but you gain so much the years after..
