Do single fathers do a better job of preparing a child from engaging in illegal activities, and holding a job?

Children of single mothers have to bear the brunt of the emotions of the single mother which are probably exacerbated due to the added stress of having a job. However, would a single father instill values such as the value of employment, staying out of crime, and being overall more normal?
