Doctors vs. nurse practitioners...how do you become one?(what are the different steps) ?

Doctors go to med school. Nurse practitioners are nurses with a BSN who have completed a masters in nursing. In my state, they can write prescriptions for all but cl 1 drugs and can otherwise diagnose and discharge. If you are thinking about it- get in NOW! The NP and PA field is growing exponentially!
